London’s Accuride manufacturing plant shut down on Friday, for many it was the end of their last shift.
150 unionized workers are now out of a job.
The remaining 20 workers will finish their work by mid-February.
The plant has operated since 1968 - at its manufacturing peak as many as 800-people worked at the east-end site.
Past and present employees gathered to say their final goodbyes.
