After almost a year, Guelph Police have arrested a Hamilton woman as part of a large cosmetics theft investigation.

Guelph Police said two women went to a business near Speedvale Avenue and Woolwich Street on April 16, 2024. Police said one of the women acted as a look-out and blocked the other suspect from cameras while she took around 230 cosmetics items. Police believe the stolen goods are worth approximately $3,800.

On Tuesday, a 33-year-old Hamilton woman was arrested for theft under $5,000.
