A man from Kitchener and a woman from Warminster, Ont. have been charged with three separate carjackings that were reported in June 2024.

Investigators with Waterloo Regional Police said in all three cases, a male and a female suspect approached victims with a knife and a baseball bat.

No one was hurt during any of the carjackings.

Eventually, a stolen vehicle was found in Barrie, Ont. and forensic evidence was gathered that lead investigators to identify the two suspects.

The 22-year-old Kitchener man was arrested on Feb. 27, 2025 and charged with multiple offences including robbery with a weapon, uttering threats and theft of a vehicle.

The 20-year-old woman from Warminster, Ont. is also facing the same charges.
