Vehicle dragged by tractor trailer in Fergus

A driver has been charged after police said a vehicle was dragged by a tractor trailer in Fergus.

Ontario Provincial Police were conducting an unrelated investigation near the intersection of Belsyde Avenue and St. David Street South on Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. when a tractor-trailer was seen dragging a vehicle underneath it as it was turning.

A 40-year-old driver from Brampton has been charged with unsafe move – lane or shoulder.

No one was hurt during the incident.
