Two attempted break-ins at places of worship in Cambridge and Kitchener

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is looking into two attempted break-ins at places of worship.

Police were told someone tried to break into a building in the area of McIntyre Drive and Strasburg Road in Kitchener on Wednesday around 4:30 a.m.

Approximately an hour later, at 5:30 a.m., another attempted break-in was reported near Old Mill Road and Meadow Creek Lane in Cambridge.

Neither building was entered. Police believe these incidents were targeted.

Anyone who many have been in the area at the time is asked to check their security cameras for suspicious people, vehicles or activity.
