Three men are facing charges after a Waterloo Regional Police Service human trafficking investigation.
Officers began looking into reports of trafficking involving local women in April 2024.
In a release on Thursday, police said two 36-year-old men were arrested on Feb. 20, 2025. Their charges include human trafficking, exercising control, direction or influence over another person, advertising sexual services, money laundering, uttering death threats and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The men were identified as Rommel Hinds-Grannum, who goes by the nickname ‘Nov,’ and Robert Hinds-Grannum, known as ‘Chase.’
An unnamed 50-year-old man was also arrested on the same charges.
