The cities of Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge have extended significant weather events as crews continue trying to clean up the streets.
The cities are extending their prohibitions until at least 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.
Under a significant weather event, parking is not allowed on city streets. Any vehicles found on the streets can be ticketed or towed.
“Crews will also begin to address narrow streets and intersections with potential sight line concerns as a result of the snow volume and space limitations. Snow clearing has been a round-the-clock operation for several days, and it will take crews some time to manage the additional snow loading operations,” the City of Waterloo said in a statement.
