Police are looking for tips after over $4,000 worth of cosmetics was stolen from a north-end Guelph business earlier this month.

In a release, Guelph Police said a man and woman entered a business near Eramosa Road and Stevenson Street North on Feb. 9, where they hid more than 300 cosmetic items in a reusable bag before walking out. Police believe the stolen goods are worth approximately $4,200.

Police are looking for two suspects. The first is described as a man with a medium build, wearing a black puffy winter jacket with a hood and blue jeans. The second is described as a woman with a medium build wearing a black winter jacket with a hood and grey pants. She was also carrying a black purse. The stolen items were put into a black reusable bag with a rainbow logo.

Store staff told police they believe the same suspects are also involved with thefts in other regions.
