Waterloo Regional Police are investigating threats made against an entertainment venue in Kitchener.
On Thursday, police were told Centre In The Square had received online threats referencing potential violence during a showing of ‘Shen Yun’ on March 27.
Investigators have deemed the threat was not credible.
Dozens of similar threats have been made throughout North America in relation to Shen Yun performances, but no actual acts of violence have been reported.
Police are still trying to locate where the threat came from.
