More than $6K worth of items stolen from Guelph home

Police are seeking tips after more than $6,000 in cash and other items were stolen during a Guelph break-in on Wednesday.

Guelph Police said they were called to a home near Westmount Road and Campion Avenue just before 2 p.m. The homeowner told police she was out of the house for around four hours and came back to find the rear door kicked in and multiple rooms ransacked.

Cash, jewelry and electronics, including a laptop and iPad, were stolen. The total value is estimated at more than $6,000.
