A man was charged nearly two years later after allegedly damaging two Guelph hospital rooms.

In a release, Guelph Police said a patient was in an exam room where he made a large hole in the wall by pulling at the drywall. He was moved to a second room, where he repeatedly punched and kicked an electronic card reader. He wasn’t arrested at the time because he was receiving treatment.

Police found the man and arrested him on Wednesday.

A 30-year-old Guelph man was charged with mischief under $5,000.
