Three teenagers under the age of 16 charged for armed robbery in Kitchener

Three teenagers are facing weapons charges after a business in Kitchener was robbed by knife-wielding suspects.

Waterloo Regional Police Service said officers were called to the Duke Street East and Frederick Street area on Wednesday around 3:50 p.m.

They were told masked males with knives walked into the store and stole merchandise.

Two of the suspects were arrested nearby while a third suspect was found shortly after 6 p.m.

Two 14-year-old boys from Waterloo and a 15-year-old boy from Cambridge have been charged with robbery with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and disguise with intent.
