Liberal Leader Mark Carney has triggered an election and Canadians are set to go to the polls on April 28.
Below is a list of candidates for four major parties that have been announced as of 3 p.m. on March 26. Official candidate lists will be posted by Elections Canada on April 9 after candidate nominations close on April 7 at 2 p.m. The official lists will be available on elections.ca.
