Elderly woman’s wallet stolen in Paris, Ont. distraction theft: OPP

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking for tips after an elderly woman was targeted in a distraction theft in Paris, Ont. Tuesday afternoon.

The OPP said in a release that an elderly woman was shopping at a store on Grand River Street North when she was targeted by a man and woman. The suspects distracted the woman and stole her wallet. Store security cameras caught the theft on tape.

Brant County OPP is asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or has any information to call them at 1-888-310-1122.
