Clearing snow can be a hassle but drivers should make some effort when getting behind the wheel.
A 55-year-old from Fergus found that out the hard way.
Ontario Provincial Police spotted the driver on Thursday afternoon as they were travelling on St. David St. North.
Both the front and rear windshield were partially covered in snow.
Police said the driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for not having a clear front view and an improper windshield wiper.
They were also given a warning for not having a clear rear view and failing to have an insurance card.
