Around $40,000 worth of property was believed to be stolen in a Wellington County break and enter, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

On March 4, OPP said a break and enter happened at a home on Wallace Street within Hillsburgh by Erin Township at around 12:15 p.m. They said two suspects entered the back of the residence through a glass door. They then stole what police believed to be around $40,000 worth of property.

OPP said the suspects left in a white SUV with no front license plate and very tinted windows.

Police said no one was home at the time of the break-in.

Wellington County OPP are investigating and are asking for tips in identifying the three suspects and the vehicle involved.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122.
