Whitecourt RCMP arrested a man they say broke into a home and physically assaulted an senior woman in a wheelchair.
Mounties responded to a break and enter on March 9 after a 69-year-old woman was assaulted.

Police arrested a 43-year-old man from Blue Ridge, Alta., and charged him with:
- assault with a weapon;
- assault;
- uttering threats;
- break and enter to a residence; and
- two counts of mischief under $5000.
He’s out on bail and scheduled to appear in court on April 22.
