A pair of Edmonton Oilers will skate at West Edmonton Mall for a charity event on Sunday morning.

Forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and goaltender Calvin Pickard will skate with fans in a fundraiser for KidSport Edmonton.

“This event is an incredible opportunity for fans to connect with two of Edmonton’s hockey greats in a venue unlike any other, while harnessing the passion of Oil Country to raise money for a great cause in our community,” Danielle Woo with West Edmonton Mall said in a release.

The event is sold-out and proceeds will go to KidSport, a local non-profit that helps families pay for sports fees.

The skate begins at 10 a.m. and the meet and greet is at 11 a.m.
