Temperatures are back below 0 C for the weekend, if you’re not planning on enjoying the fresh snow outdoors, there are free and paid indoor events to help you pass the time.

Bonnie Doon Mall will be hosting a site-wide art walk Saturday and Sunday. The Night of Artists Art Walk and Amy’s House Gala will feature more than 3,000 artworks from 160 artists, as well as live music and interactive exhibits. It wraps up Sunday with a fundraiser gala.

Price: Free for the art walk, $25 for the gala

Unceded, Voices of the Land, a new Indigenous-led contemporary exhibit, will launch Saturday at Edmonton City Centre West. The immersive audio-visual installation explores the creativity and worldviews of 18 Indigenous architects, led by Elder Douglas Cardinal. It runs until June 21.

Price: $28.50 for adults, $18 for youth

A new puppy water park opens Saturday at West Edmonton Mall, near Hudson’s Bay. Fantasia Dogs is a splash park and dog day care. The grand opening will feature prizes, doggy goody bags and “pup pawtraits” for guests. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.

Everyone is invited to a Taste of Ramadan on Saturday at Boyle Street Plaza. The event is held each year by the Al-Rashid Youth Club. It brings together the community to share meals and collect donations for families in need. This year, the club hopes to raise $10,000.

Edmonton Downtown Dining Week started Wednesday, with more than 60 central restaurants offering set menus ranging from $15 to $65. The event will run until March 23.

Rebel Boss Women’s Day Market will help kick off International Women’s Month at Gold Bar Hall on Sunday. The market will feature 25 local women’s businesses, as well as a live art auction and a silent auction.
