Edmonton’s blood donation site is on the move.
Canadian Blood Services is relocating to Whitemud Crossing on the city’s southside from its location on the University of Alberta campus.
Tianna Doyle, community development manager for Canadian Blood Services in Edmonton, said the move was prompted by the expiring lease at the university-area location and a survey of donors that found more parking and a south-central spot for the clinic were desired.

The Whitemud Crossing location is near major roadways such as Whitemud Drive, Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail.
Doyle said the clinic will move to the new location, at 4211 106 St. NW, in April.
