Calgary police say a woman was injured in a targeted shooting on Wednesday morning.
Officials say the victim suffered a lower-body injury in the attack in the 1000 block of Memorial Drive N.W.
Two men were arrested shortly after the shooting, police said.
Calgary police say the victim was targeted and there is no risk to the public.
A home on Memorial Drive has been blocked off, as well as an alleyway.
Officers have been searching the back lane behind the home for most of the morning, but have not provided any details about what they’ve found or what they are looking for.
Police have also been focusing on an area of the laneway near the detached garage of the home.
