If you missed your chance to see Gord Downie and the rest of The Tragically Hip in Calgary earlier this month, there is another chance to see them for the band’s final show on Saturday.

Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, will be broadcasting the concert, free of charge, in the Performance Hall.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the live broadcast beginning at 6:30 p.m.

“The Tragically Hip are a huge part of the story of music in Canada, and are featured in several areas of the National Music Centre’s exhibitions at Studio Bell,” said Chad Saunders, Director of Operations for the National Music Centre in a release. “We are proud to celebrate their music and host their fans for this historic music event.”

Space is limited for the event and anyone who wants to go will need to pre-register.

The live concert at Kingston’s Rogers K-Rock Centre is sold out and could be the final one the band will play together.

Earlier this year, frontman Gord Downie announced that he’d been diagnosed with glioblastoma, a rare and incurable form of brain cancer.
