A man in his 30s is dead and one in hospital following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in southeast Calgary.
It happened around 7:30 Sunday morning in the southbound lanes near Anderson Road.
Police believe a vehicle traveling southbound on Deerfoot kept going straight when it reached the interchange at Anderson Road and hit a light pole.
There were two people in the vehicle.
The man was ejected and died on scene
The woman, also in her 30s, who driving the vehicle went to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating if speed or impairment were contributing factors and anyone with dash cam video is asked to contact them.
Several roads, including part of Deerfoot Trail southbound, were closed around the Deerfoot Meadows Shopping Centre due to the collision.
