Haitian-Canadian performers Bel and Quinn are visiting Calgary for the first time for a special International Women’s Day show Saturday at the King Eddy.
“We want people to know Haiti is a proud country,” said Quinn, who plays guitar and sings.

The sibling duo plays a blend of jazz and Haitian rhythms and was nominated for a Juno in 2024 in the Global Music Album category.
“The Haitian culture is so rich, and we really wanted to show that—to showcase how rich it is, how beautiful it is,” said Bel, who writes lyrics and sings.
Saturday at the King Eddy, Bel and Quinn will be joined by bassist Stéphanie Jobin.
