A man is in hospital in life-threatening condition after he was hit by a car on Macleod Trail.
At about 10:33 p.m., Calgary police say a pedestrian was hit near Southland Drive.
Officials say the man was taken to hospital by EMS.
The man’s injuries are likely life-altering, police said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Macleod Trail was closed for approximately four hours for the traffic unit to complete its reconstruction.
