Lethbridge police are looking for help finding a woman accused of abusing her one-year-old son.

Delia Teri Joy Grey, 43, was charged with aggravated assault, failing to provide the necessaries of life and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest, but police have been unable to locate her.

Lethbridge police say she may be in the High Prairie/Atikameg area.

The charges stem from an incident in May 2024, when a one-year-old boy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The boy was later taken to a children’s hospital in critical condition, police say.

After investigating, police determined the toddler sustained blunt force trauma and other injuries while in the care of his mother. She was subsequently charged in late 2024.

Police said the toddler was discharged from hospital and continues to recover in the care of his relatives.

Anyone who has seen Grey or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call police at 403-328-4444. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
