Lethbridge police are urging witnesses to come forward as they investigate a hit-and-run that injured a young boy.

The collision happened just after 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10.

Police say the victim was crossing Jerry Potts Boulevard West in the area of Mike Mountain Horse School when he was hit.

The driver made no attempt to stop, according to a Friday news release.

The youth suffered minor injuries.

Police have released a CCTV picture of the silver sedan that hit the child and are hoping someone might recognize the vehicle or know who was driving.

They’re also asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has home security video or dashcam footage to call police 403-328-4444.
