More Canadians are looking to spend their summer vacation in their home country this summer.
Lethbridge appears to be a trending destination for domestic tourists.

Airbnb searches for Lethbridge are up 20 per cent year over year.
That’s one of the biggest increases for a city the company has seen.
With the cost of living still a concern, many Canadians are looking to travel to small to medium-sized communities.
Other trending destinations include Sherwood Park, Moose Jaw and Summerside.
“Lethbridge is close to a lot of major centres. It’s a huge place for conferences and events, sporting events and lots of outdoor adventures as well,” said Matt McNama, Airbnb Canada senior communications manager.
“So, as the snow thaws and the wind dies down, it makes sense that Lethbridge is starting to trend as a destination.”
Overall demand for Airbnbs in Canada this summer is up about 20 per cent.
