Family and friends of Victoria Dejardins held a vigil Friday to remember the nine-year-old girl killed in a Boxing Day crash.

A group gathered in Calgary Friday night to remember a life cut tragically short.

Nine-year-old Victoria Desjardins died in hospital after the vehicle she was in was struck by a driver, allegedly in a stolen vehicle fleeing from police on Boxing Day.

Her mother, and 12-year-old sister Madison, were also taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, but are recovering.

Friday night, family and friends shared emotional stories, remembering Victoria as a loving, funny, and bright young girl who is deeply missed.

A GoFundMe to support the family has raised over $212,000.
