A fog advisory was issued for Calgary early Saturday morning.
At 5 a.m., Environment and Climate Change Canada issued the advisory, stating on its website that “areas of dense fog with near-zero visibility will dissipate later this morning.
“Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
“If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility.”
The temperature is forecast to drop throughout the day Saturday, with periods of snow predicted of between two and four centimetres. Wind will be a factor as well, with gusts between 30 km/h and 50 km/h blowing and a wind chill of minus 26 by Saturday afternoon.
