The Calgary Humane Society says it has reached capacity on its kennels and is looking for forever families for its dogs.
The organization says the situation is desperate at its shelter.
“We are sending out an urgent ask to the community to spread the word about our situation,” the Humane Society wrote on social media.
“Please, if you are considering adopting or fostering, now is the time to act. These dogs need you more than ever to help them find a new beginning.”
To help out, you can book an appointment on the Humane Society’s website and all available adoptable dogs can be viewed online as well.
