The Calgary Catholic School Division announced unofficial results from a pair of by-elections that were held Friday to fill two vacancies on the CCSD Board of Trustees.
The unofficial elected candidates are Maria-Teresa Vecchio-Romano in Wards 4 and 7 and Chantelle Dur in Wards 11 and 12.
The new trustees will serve what’s left of the 2021-2025 term.
The CCSD said in a press statement that 382 people voted in Wards 4 and 7, with 1,099 voting in Wards 11 and 12. It said there was “insufficient data to calculate voter turnout as a percentage.”
