Two new shows featuring a popular comedian and a Canadian rock legend have been added to the summer lineup at Casino Rama.
On June 14, comedian, actor, writer and podcaster Jim Jefferies will bring his ‘Son of a Carpenter’ standup comedy to the Orillia stage.
The Australian native is known for his provocative, raunchy, belief-challenging standup that isn’t for the faint of heart. The comedian has entertained audiences across the globe and is one of the most popular and respected of his generation.
Tickets range in price from $70 to $125.
Then, on June 28, critically acclaimed Canadian icon Burton Cummings will perform at the entertainment venue. With an impressive career spanning more than six decades, the Winnipeg-born Cummings boasts 80 platinum and gold record awards.
Best known for leading the band ‘The Guess Who’ during its most successful years before diving into an incredible solo career, Cummings recorded and wrote massive hits like ‘These Eyes,’ ‘American Woman,’ and ‘No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature.'
In 2011, Cummings was awarded a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame, and in 2016, he was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
Tickets range in price from $59 to $109.
Tickets go on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster on Friday at noon.
