A dog who was found wandering alone on ice in Barrie on Sunday was reportedly reunited with its family.
Police in Barrie were searching for the owner of the dog on Saturday after the pup was reportedly found wandering on ice near Lakeview Terrace Saturday afternoon.
A spokesperson from the Barrie Police Service (BPS) confirmed to CTV News that the dog was found without tags and without an owner in sight.
After being located, the pup was reportedly safe in the hands of a Barrie Police officer.
In a social media update, the BPS confirmed the dog was reunited with its family.
