Police are searching for a missing 32-year-old man in the Owen Sound area who was reportedly last seen two weeks ago.
According to Saugeen Shores Police Service (SSPS) and OPP, Brendan Martin was reported missing on Friday. Police say he was last seen in the early hours of Saturday, January 18 in Southampton, Ontario.
Police describe Brendan as an Indigenous male measuring six feet in height and weighing 195 pounds with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. He was reportedly wearing a black and navy winter coat and Timerland-style boots when he was last seen.
Police say Brendan is known to frequent the Owen Sound and Barrie areas, and he has not been found despite extensive search efforts.
Police advise that there is concern for Brendan’s wellbeing. Southampton residents are asked to check their properties and outbuildings.
Anyone with information regarding Brendan’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact SSPS or OPP.
The OPP’s criminal investigation branch is reportedly supporting SSPS in the investigation.
