A two vehicle-collision resulted in an on-scene police vehicle taking a hit.
On Tuesday just before 8 p.m., Bracebridge OPP officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 11 North near Luigi Road in Gravenhurst.
When officers and a tow-truck driver arrived on scene, another vehicle became involved in the initial collision as police say a transport truck struck one of the police vehicles.
Bracebridge OPP closed Highway 11 North, just north of North Kahshe Lake Road.
Police confirmed that officers were not in the police vehicle at the time of the collision. However, the tow-truck operator was transported to a hospital with unconfirmed injuries.
The drivers involved in the original collision were not injured.
