A man and woman from Charlottetown are both facing a drug-trafficking charge after drugs and other items were seized.

Charlottetown Police Services searched a “location” on the Brackley Point Road in Charlottetown on Tuesday.

During the search, police say they seized:

- a quantity of cocaine

- more than 100 prescription pills

- cellphones

- drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking

- more than $1,200 cash

The force says officers arrested a 48-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman. They’re both facing one charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Both people have been released from custody with conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
