Police in Summerside, P.E.I., arrested two people following a traffic stop in the city Tuesday night.
Summerside Police Services pulled a vehicle over on MacEwen Road in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation around 6:30 p.m.
A 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested at the scene.
Police say they found about one kilogram of what they suspect to be MDMA during a search of the vehicle.
“Charges including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking are expected to be laid,” reads a Wednesday social media post from Summerside Police Services.
