N.S. RCMP recover stolen truck and Bernese Mountain dog

The Nova Scotia RCMP say they have recovered a truck stolen on Friday from Colchester County as well as the puppy that was inside.

Police saw an unattended red 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 crew cab was stolen from a Highway 311 property in Central North River around 6:30 p.m. Friday. At the time of the theft, a Bernese Mountain dog was inside the vehicle.

In a update posted around 10:15 p.m., RCMP say they located the stolen vehicle and the puppy.

“The puppy is safe and sound,” reads the post.
