Police arrest 4 people after gun shots in Upper Musquodoboit, N.S.

RCMP in Nova Scotia investigated a report of gunshots in Upper Musquodoboit on Hwy. 224 near the 8800 block on Saturday.

At 9:15 p.m., RCMP confirmed four persons of interest were arrested and directed the public to avoid the area in a statement.

At 10:15 p.m., Saturday, RCMP confirmed no one was injured during the incident but that they remained on the scene gathering evidence. Investigators do not believe the shots were targeted towards people, according the RCMP statement.

Police said they were investigating the report of gun shots in the area at 8:52 p.m., Saturday, on their social media.
