A man is facing a drug trafficking charge following a seizure in Fredericton last week.
The Fredericton Police Force’s Integrated Enforcement Unit arrested a man on the city’s southside as part of a drug trafficking investigation last Wednesday.
Police say they seized a significant amount of drugs, including more than 52 grams of fentanyl and packaging consistent with drug trafficking.
The 42-year-old man from Fredericton has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court in May.
