RCMP looks for witnesses to Moncton shooting that left one injured

The RCMP is looking for witnesses to a shooting that happened in Moncton, N.B., on Monday.

Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of a business near the 900 block of Mountain Road around 10:22 p.m.

When officers arrived, police say they learned a 22-year-old man had been shot.

He was taken to hospital with what police believe to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The force says officers determined the incident was isolated and there was no further risk to the public.

“We are looking to speak to any witnesses to the incident, as well as anyone who was near the 900 block of Mountain Road between 9 and 11 p.m., on March 10, 2025,” said Cpl Dave Allard with the Codiac Regional RCMP in a news release.

“If you have dash-camera or other video footage from the area at the time of the incident, please call the police.”
